Review highlights
A haunting blend of folklore and dread, written with the confidence of a storyteller who knows exactly when to let the shadows speak.
Walker gives the supernatural weight and consequence. The atmosphere lingers long after the final page.
Dark, cinematic, and impossible to put down. A vivid new voice for readers who like their fiction strange and sharp.
Stay close to the fire.
